The highly anticipated exhibition How Do You Do, Snoopy? 75 Years: A journey of friendship through art made its world premiere in Taipei on June 19.
Featuring four major exhibition zones, the exhibition brought together 21 artists, 24 leading fashion brands, and over 50 classic comic strips and animations. It also debuted a newly developed space-themed interactive experience. Spanning art, culture, fashion, and entertainment, this is the most unique and comprehensive Peanuts exhibition in recent years.
Art × Culture × Fashion × Entertainment —
A Multidimensional Perspective Since the very first Peanuts comic strip debuted in 1950, its whimsical humor and
philosophical insights have captivated generations of readers. Its influence has grown far beyond entertainment, reaching into culture, art, fashion—and even space.
One of the key highlights of the How Do You Do, Snoopy? Exhibition is a special collaboration with 21 artists, each invited to create works inspired by Peanuts, exploring how this little beagle and his friends continue to shape contemporary culture, art, and everyday life.
The lineup includes renowned Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, best known for his iconic Rubber Duck; South Korea’s pioneering character design team SUPERFICTION; German art collective inges idee and Andreas Piontkowitz, celebrated for their surreal and playful style; Seoul-based “donut magician” Jae Yong Kim; and Etsu Egami, a rising star in Japanese contemporary art. Taiwan is proudly represented by four artists with distinctly different styles—Yang Mao-Lin, Ren Shen Er, Chen Tai Hwa and Demos Chiang—joining creatives from three continents for this exhibition.
Snoopy and Belle in Fashion has arrived in Taiwan, following a successful showcase in Paris this March. The exhibition features couture outfits specially designed for Snoopy and Belle by top luxury brands including Chanel, Gucci, Hermès, and Giorgio Armani.
With his deep-rooted ties to space exploration, Snoopy, face of the NASA safety program, naturally takes on a space-themed role in the Peanuts 75th Anniversary Exhibition. In the newly designed interactive experience “Snoopy in Space”, visitors are invited to join the Peanuts gang on a mission to find the Snoopy spaceship, embarking on a fantastical journey where art and space adventure come together.
A Bold Debut from an Asian Perspective
To celebrate its 75th anniversary, How Do You Do, Snoopy? 75 Years: A journey of friendship through art made its world premiere in Taiwan. The exhibition is led by chief curator Yuling Wang of Blue Dragon Art Company, with Daisuke Kusakari, Creative Director of the Snoopy Museum Tokyo, joining the curatorial team. With an Asian perspective at its core, the exhibition explores Snoopy’s subtle connections to Eastern culture. Through over 50 classic comic strips and newly created animations, it traces how Snoopy’s unique blend of humor and wisdom has inspired generations of fans around the world.
At the opening of the world premiere, three Taiwanese artists—Yang Mao Lin, Ren Shen Er, and Chen Tai Hwa—were joined by Thai artists POORBOY and 2choey, who offered their interpretations of Peanuts through street art and pop aesthetics. Together, they sparked a cross-cultural exchange centered around the beloved comic series.
How Do You Do, Snoopy? 75 Years: A journey of friendship through art will be held from June 20 to September 7 2025, at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Place, A11 6F. During the exhibition, a series of limited-edition art toys and exclusive merchandise will be gradually released—don’t miss it!
