OBayten’s practice is anchored in faceless figures and natural symbols, focusing on female subjectivity and the delineation of personal boundaries. Through easel painting, she dissolves traditional modes of the gaze, rearticulating the relationship between women and nature. Her work has evolved from an outward exploration of symbiosis toward a deeper engagement with individual lived experience. She has collaborated across disciplines with brands such as Jay Chou’s IP and PAGELAB, and has been invited to publish an Artset monograph on oil painting techniques.
